Cross-border tax and immigration

Moving country is hard.
The tax and visa part
does not have to be.

Taxes and visas are usually the hardest part of moving abroad. We make them easy, through a network of accountants and lawyers we have used ourselves.

One network for every country your move touches.

A move abroad usually means one accountant in the country you are leaving, another where you are going, and sometimes a third wherever your business is registered. We bring them together through one network, so the pieces fit and you are not left managing three professionals yourself.

Where you are leaving

Leave cleanly, so your old tax office stops treating you as a resident.

Where you are going

The right visa, and the tax setup that suits how you earn.

Where your business is

Your company and clients abroad, kept in step with your new home.

01 — The tax
advantages

Move to the right place and the tax can be very low.

Most people assume Dubai is the best place to cut a tax bill. There are other countries that are fun, interesting places to live. They do not offer 0% tax, but they can reduce your tax bill significantly.

Mexico

RESICO

1% to 2.5% of gross income. Mexico's simplified regime for self-employed individuals charges between 1% and 2.5% of what you invoice, on income up to MXN 3.5 million a year, which is roughly US$185,000.

Colombia

Régimen simple

From 5.9% of gross income. For remote tech workers and consultants, Colombia's simple regime charges 5.9% of gross income in the lowest band and 7.3% in the next, rising for higher earners. Health and social security contributions are paid on top.

Which one fits depends on how you earn and where you are coming from. That is what the call is for.

02 — Who we are

We have made this move ourselves, more than once.

We have moved countries many times, and spoken to a long line of accountants and lawyers about taxes and visas along the way.

With the help of our community we find, vet and recommend the ones we have actually used and had a good experience with. Those are the people we introduce you to.

For people moving abroad

Remote workers and retirees moving from Europe or North America to Latin America or Southeast Asia.

The right people in every country involved

Accountants and immigration lawyers in the country you are leaving, the country you are going to, and wherever your company sits.

What the last person through already learned

Which visa route actually moved, how long it really took, and what turned out to be a waste of money. The part you normally only find out afterwards.

04 — Recommend
someone

Know someone good? Recommend them.

An accountant, a lawyer, a dentist, a cosmetic surgeon. If a professional looked after you well abroad, tell us about them. It takes a minute, and we speak to everyone before we recommend them to anyone else.
